We hosted a group event for 25 people at Narenj, and it was one of the best gatherings we have had.
The staff were communicative, courteous, and attentive from the start. They helped us build a menu that met the needs of a large and varied group. They went above and beyond to make sure everything worked for our guests.
The food was outstanding. Many people in our group had never tried Persian food before, and by the end of the night they loved it. Every dish had strong flavor and care in its preparation. Some of our friends said right then and there they have to come back.
The drinks were excellent and the ambience of the restaurant was beautiful. The space felt warm and welcoming, which made the event feel incredibly special and memorable.
If you are planning a group event or want a great meal, Narenj is an amazing choice. Our entire group left impressed and grateful for the experience. Hands down one of the best places to eat in Oakville, we can’t wait to come back!
Love supporting local!!! Amazing experience! No reservations but full house! But moved quickly and we were graciously escorted expediently to a table. Had the hot & iced Tehran fog. Both lovely subtle flavours and not too sweet! Salmon & Haloumi Sakshouka were tasty and nice and hot when served! My husband loved leftovers and now can’t wait to go!
This place is so good that a complete stranger called D from Iraq walked me all the way here from downtown Oakville so I could experience the Persian Tea and cakes. They were both divine. The interior gives relaxed, comfy cozy vibes with huge cushions and a warm welcome by staff, Sofia, Afsan and team. I was expertly advised on what to choose by Sofia and enjoyed my refills of the namesake Narenj Persian Tea including crystal sugar wand to sweeten every cup. I had the Pistachio Mousse $12 first and it was moist and light as air. I needed to try more, so they made a special croissant $8 just for me combining raspberry and chocolate served hot in their own pots so I could mix it myself. The croissant was like eating a Parisian cloud of pastry, so airy, buttery and delicious. After a chat with owner, Maro, I left completely relaxed and satisfied. Thank you, stranger D for walking me here and Maro and Narenj staff for spoiling me like a princess.
