We hosted a group event for 25 people at Narenj, and it was one of the best gatherings we have had.
The staff were communicative, courteous, and attentive from the start. They helped us build a menu that met the needs of a large and varied group. They went above and beyond to make sure everything worked for our guests.
The food was outstanding. Many people in our group had never tried Persian food before, and by the end of the night they loved it. Every dish had strong flavor and care in its preparation. Some of our friends said right then and there they have to come back.
The drinks were excellent and the ambience of the restaurant was beautiful. The space felt warm and welcoming, which made the event feel incredibly special and memorable.
If you are planning a group event or want a great meal, Narenj is an amazing choice. Our entire group left impressed and grateful for the experience. Hands down one of the best places to eat in Oakville, we can’t wait to come back!
Narenj is beautiful and cozy. Service was quick and the food was delicious. Water tastes fresh and is uniquely served with sprigs of mint in each jug. I had the brisket shakshouka: the acidity of the tomatoes and pomegranate molasses is bold and punchy, the fried halloumi is to die for, and the sourdough bread was the perfect accompaniment. To finish, you can take a look at the pastry counter for an assortment of croissants and desserts.
The only oddity is the seating which is sometimes too tall/high relative to the tables.
The vibe is just amazing! I and my friend wanted to go to Narenj for so long and today we finally got the chance! I’m a vegetarian so it was a bit hard as they don’t have much to choose from but I tried few items and it was all good. They have plenty of desserts and it was really hard to choose. Staff is attentive and nice. The decor is just beautiful and very detailed. We ended up ordering a lot and then boxed half of what we ordered!
Love supporting local!!! Amazing experience! No reservations but full house! But moved quickly and we were graciously escorted expediently to a table. Had the hot & iced Tehran fog. Both lovely subtle flavours and not too sweet! Salmon & Haloumi Sakshouka were tasty and nice and hot when served! My husband loved leftovers and now can’t wait to go!
